PROBLEM: Many of our back roads in service and recreational areas are eroding and making our roads unsafe! Our woods have numerous distressed areas where the terrain drops off suddenly, creating rocky trenches and deep ravines. SOLUTION: Build retaining walls between the ravines and roadbeds, and fill eroded areas with large gravel and rock. Sturdy steel cables will help anchor the walls for many years. These additions will make our roads safe for golf carts, trucks and autos.
