Jim Harriman serves with Francis Asbury Society in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Jim serves on the faculty of the Universidad Evangelica Boliviana, and oversees the cattle ranch. In the last three years Jim has been developing a coffee farm, which has bloomed into a new ministry avenue, opening doors to build relationships with local farmers around the Santa Cruz area, as well Buena Vista, Bolivia. Jims hope is that more and more local farmers will see the dignity in growing coffee, and replace their current coca crops with coffee. $10000 is needed to purchase a new coffee gravity separator, a piece of equipment vital in the sorting and grading of green coffee beans. Acquiring such a machine will allow Jim to encourage more coffee production in the region as well as allowing other local growers to sort their coffee at his farm, in order to achieve higher prices in the local markets.
